Saint Theresa Tutorial School was founded in 2013. After teaching First grade through Twelfth grade in both public and private schools, working with the Church in different capacities, and owning a day care, my journey brought me to opening a tutoring school. This facility's primary existence is to help parents educate their child in a Family Christian environment. I have a BA in Elementary Education and retired after many years of service in various grades. I have taught at Carencro Elementary, Carencro Heights, Ossun Elementary, and Carencro Catholic. My High School experience was at Teurlings Catholic serving as Religion instructor and Campus minister. I also worked with Sacramental preparation for Confirmation at St. Peter in Carencro and St. Elizabeth Seton in Lafayette. Along with my husband, Marc and my son-in-law, Scott we tutor in the four core subjects of English Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, and Science. Marc has worked with students at Carencro Catholic, Teurlings Catholic, and ULL in the religious education departments. Scott Threlkeld is a product of a homeschool environment and is currently working toward a degree in Radiology at LSUE. We also offer after-school tutoring and lessons in the arts.
